2. Kit is coming. The free fingerprint kit will arrive in your mailbox in 1–2 business days.
3. Take an impression. Gently press your finger onto the chemical-free fingerprint strip and transfer it to the fingerprint card—it even works while you're asleep.
4. Upload. Scan the QR code from the kit and upload a photo of the card. No returns.
5. Engraving & Shipping. We select the best impression, digitally edit it, and laser-engrave it onto your necklace in Switzerland and Germany—processing time is approximately 10–14 business days. Then your one-of-a-kind item will be shipped to you, insured and with tracking.

Does my baby already have fingerprints?
Yes—they begin to develop around the 22nd week of pregnancy and are fully formed by the time of birth.

At what point does the imprint become clearly visible?
It's different for every child. We recommend taking the measurement starting at 6 months. If it's not clearly visible yet, just wait: Your order is valid indefinitely, and you can upload the photo at any time later.

Will this hurt my child?
No. Taking the impression is completely painless—and it's easiest to do while your baby is sleeping.

Will the print be engraved at its original size?
We digitize it and laser-cut it on a 1:1 scale—adjusted to fit the size of the pendant or ring.

Is that real gold?
No—it's a high-quality 18-karat gold plating on 925 sterling silver, so it's costume jewelry. Solid gold of this size and quality would not be possible at our price.

Can I give this piece of jewelry as a gift?
We'd be happy to—just provide the desired shipping address when you place your order. The kit will then be sent directly to the recipient.

Polish with a soft, dry cloth. Remove before showering, bathing, swimming, and sleeping; apply perfume and lotion first, then put it on. Do not treat gold-plated items with silver polish or ultrasonic cleaners—the gold plating will thank you for it. It's best to store it in a jewelry box.
